Role Description
We are looking to add a skilled technician to our team. The ideal candidate would have either experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic gates, access control systems and/or overhead doors in order to ensure that our clients’ doors and gates are functioning safely and properly.
TRAINEE POSITIONS ALSO AVAILABLE (ESPECIALLY IF YOU KNOW LOW VOLTAGE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Pay Range
$30-$45
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair automatic gates, commercial overhead doors, pass-through doors, motors and access control systems
Troubleshoot issues with automatic gates, commercial doors, operators and hardware related to pass through doors
Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial doors and gates
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations
Knowledge of electrical systems related to commercial door and/or automatic gate operators
Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes
Experience in locks and door hardware for entry door systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
Preferably have overhead fire door and/or AAADM certifications
Requirements
Must have acceptable DMV record with no DUIs in last three years. Must pass physical and background check.
